Newly arrived off a 12 hour flight and train ride from Charles de Gaulle, I took my first steps into a city full of wonder. The smell of fresh bread wafting through the air, bustling sounds from the nearby café’s and the sight of the perfectly charmed streets was enough to captivate my attention. Already, it was clear to see why people fall in love with Paris. Each arrondissement you walk through has their own unique character, all just as beautiful and endearing as the next. From the striking architecture and history to the picturesque parks – where people actually stop to smell the rose bushes and enjoy resting on benches – the drool-worthy cuisine and wine… This city is filled with a lingering romance able to be felt around every corner.
I had travelled to the ‘City of Love’ for the first time in 2015 with no intentions or expectations, only dreams and visions pieced together from what I had seen in the movies. It was everything I could have imagined and more. Travel has always fueled my spirit and I was inspired to try and capture the magic of all that is Paris.
I am so excited to bring you this complete, at-home, Parisian date night experience. Offering you a tiny peek into their incredible world of food, wine and passion. As we find new and creative ways to enjoy being at home, I thought, what better way than to tap into ALL of our senses. Bon appétit!
